Following from our last post, we are continuing to give sneak peaks into some of our favorite looks for this season. Another hot colour trend for 2012 is turquoise and coral; a bright, playful look that’s reminiscent of a fiery sunset and just makes you want to hit the beach and cool off. These colours are great to play with as there are so many different hues that work so well together and Easter weekend fast approaching, these hues are perfect to introduce to our tabletop for a trendy party. Check out some ways to bring these colours to your table and get inspired!
Tips to remember when creating your own bold tabletop statement to dine in style:
1. Introduce colour in fun ways: Place mats are a great way to get that bold pop of colour on a budget. This will freshen up your table even if you’re using white dishes. The contrast of the white and the bright colour will make your setting even more bold.
2. Start the party: Drink markers are a fun way to introduce colour into your glassware and it’s also very practical so you don’t have as much washing up to do! Your guests will love it and it completes the look
3.Soften the look: Make sure to add a centerpiece with a floral element to soften the look. This makes your tabletop seem even more fresh and inviting; you’ll be a true entertainer.
4. Serve in Style: Coloured cookware such as Le Creuset is a great way to add a burst of colour to your tabletop. This fun cookware can go from oven, to table top to freezer and is ideal for entertaining as there’s less mess for you to have to deal with later. This can act as a bold statement on your table and is so functional and practical
5. Dynamic Dinnerware: Investing in some great dinnerware is something you won’t regret. If you love bold colour and a unique tabletop a great pattern is the way to go. This creates a statement like no other that you and your guests will be sure to love.
